I figured I would wait until school is over to attempt it, that way I have some free time to get it started at work out initial kinks.
I’m not sure if I would make it a vlog or more of a tips/tricks/reviews type of thing.
What do you guys look for in beauty videos?
Do you care more about content than video quality?
Do you care about the length of a video?
I wonder what I should do as a first video…
Completed my last crazy hectic Friday at Empire!
No school on Monday, but I only have 22 hours left of school!
I thought I was going to graduate on Friday, but apparently I suck at basic math or something, and I actually graduate on Thursday!
I had four clients today. First time I’ve done that many, too. =] And I still had time to spare!
After today, I only need 3 haircuts and 39 styles. That’s one haircut a day and 13 styles a day, which I can definitely kick out on my mannequins, especially with how slow we’ll be after the holiday weekend.
Down to my last three days!!!!
I have so many pictures to post for you guys when I get the time to sit down and really spend some time with this blog.
anninwonderland asked: i love your blog! i go to empire too, but i live in maine :) i go on the floor in 4 weeks and i'm like freaking outttt. good luck with everything!
That’s awesome! Don’t freak out, the floor is the best part. Especially once you’re completely done with classes. Good luck with you too! Keep me updated!
fuckmebatman asked: Thinking of enrolling in Empire but really nervous about financial aid and when tuition is due and all that. Would you say it's a sound investment? I don't want to waste time on something that isn't what I expected. I love hair, skin and nails but I don't want them to suck the fun out of it :/
It’s hard for me to say because I only know how my school works. People are going to be different at every school. In Florida they do go through FAFSA. Skin and nails we don’t really go into that much honestly. We learned basic manis, pedis, and facials. Fun sucking really depends on the teachers. I would definitely tell you to visit the school and try and talk to the teachers and see if you like the atmosphere. And check out other schools too so you have something to compare it to. =]
lovemyseoul21 asked: Hi! I'm a high school student right now but I'm planning on going to a local Paul Mitchell Partner School after I graduate. I hope to be as good as you!!! :D
Ooo I hope you have a ton of fun there! You’ll definitely have to keep me updated on your experience! I’m really not that good but thank you! As long as you practice and always find ways to keep yourself motivated and learning, you’ll do fantastic. Check out behindthechair.com and modernsalon.com. They’re great websites for hairdressers. You can learn a lot from them!
Only need styles, cuts, and one nail service!!!!

onetobeamdown asked: Hey, so as a fellow cosmetology student I wanted to tell you that you seem rather nice and dedicated. I see a lot of girls sit at their stations and do nothing all day, then bitch when they get a client. But you seem like you actually like to do clients. So yeah, I would love to trade tricks and tips with you sometime.
I’ve definitely had a few of those days don’t get me wrong, but this is what I want to do. It was choice 1 straight out if high school. I was definitely expecting more passion from people but apparently it’s only a few people out of the tons that go. But hopefully that’s what I’ll find once I get in a salon! How’s your beauty school experience been?
shittiest-url asked: Love your blog :) I also go to Empire! I go on the floor in 2 weeks OMGGGG
Thank you! And that’s awesome, do you like it? Getting to the floor was the best part of the whole experience for me, especially after advanced classes were over.
I need to know the color used to achieve this red. I hope it’s Special Effects.
